This week Year One have been learning about subtraction using subtraction stories. E.g. First there were 5 frogs on the log, then one jumped off and now there are 4 frogs on the log. Please print out the attached sheet and support your child to tell the subtraction stories before recording the number sentences. Once they have completed the examples, they can make two of their own first, then, now subtraction stories.
