This week at school we have been learning about recounts using the connectives first, next and finally. At school we have written a recount of our class book Pirate Mums. For their home learning please can the children write their own recount of something they have done,  this could be a trip to the shops, a walk or something else.

Remember to start your sentences with the connectives first, next and finally. Don't forget sentences start with capital letters, have finger spaces and full stops at the end. If your child finds writing really hard they could write the first sentence and draw pictures for the next two.
