Campfest returns on 12th July 2024 with the theme of “Under the Sea”. For those of you new to the school, Campfest is a mini festival held on the recreation ground. The children entertain us with their amazing talents and there are stalls and food to enjoy. Afterwards, you can camp out on the recreation ground overnight. It is a truly memorable event and is a highlight of the kids’ time at Box Primary School. Not only is Campfest a fun event for the whole family to enjoy, it is also an important fundraiser for the school. In previous years, the money raised has contributed to play equipment and other fun items that are not covered by the school budget. This year, any money raised will contribute to some further upgrades of the willow garden play equipment.
Ash class are all very excited about Campfest and this week’s home learning lesson is to practise our class song Baby Beluga. See if you can learn the whole song ready for our singing session on Tuesday afternoon. You can follow this link to a video or use the attached lyrics to sing along.

For those children who would like a homework challenge, see if you can find out and record some facts about Beluga Whales. I wonder where they live and what they eat. What would you like to find out?
