This term, Ash Class are going to be explorers! They have already begun their adventure of discovery with an exploration of Box. They traversed the wilds of the Rec, the mountainous Rock Circus, the barren, arid car park and the entertaining jungle that is the playground. It was a long and arduous walk, and we feared that some might not make it back…… Not at all! It was the most recent of Ash Class’ favourite activities- a welly walk! Come rain or shine, it’s always great fun to get out and explore, and this time they have been learning so much about their local area. And all good explorers need maps - how else will other brave souls be able to complete the same journey? Ash Class have been fantastic mapmakers: plotting routes and thinking about symbols that their maps need. I can’t wait to see where their next adventure takes them!
