It was so great (if a little chilly) to see everybody back this week! And as well as welcoming all of the children back to assemblies, we also welcomed a visitor on Friday. A visitor from the Parish Council came to present the school with three beautiful and fascinating books about nature and how we can look after it. Beech Class had a wonderful session last year with the Parish Council looking at how the cemetery is a great spot for encouraging nature. So we thank the Parish Council once again for their kind support.

These books will be given to classes so that the children can explore a topic that is so close to many of their hearts. We already have weekly gardening sessions so the children can look after the nature in our grounds - hopefully, these books will give us some wonderful new ideas for nature projects.
