Speedbounce Challenge Accepted

This week all of Box Primary School have been taking part in the next of our Mosaic inter-academy challenges: the Speedbounce! The children had 20 seconds to bounce a basketball as many times as they could.  It was fast, it was frantic, it was great fun! We were so impressed with how the children did- scores in the 30s and 40s from some of our youngest children- I think that’s faster than some adults (naming no names). And the highest number of bounces in 20 seconds………… was a tie between a Year 5 and a Year 6, both with 68 bounces. That’s more than 3 a second! Special mention to our Year 6 sports leaders who took charge of the event: counting the bounces (incredibly difficult at that speed) and keeping everyone to time. I can’t wait to see how Box Primary School fares against the rest of the school in the academy. Keeeeeep bouncing!
