Celebrations
This week Box Primary School celebrated Ascension Day, with services at the church for both our KS1 and KS2 children. It was great for the children to see our very own TA (Reverend Southgate) dressed up in vestments, as she talked us through the service and what each part represented. The children were invited to come to the altar for a blessing and some adults took communion. It was a fascinating experience for the children to see a Christian act of worship, all made accessible and explained in a way that made sense to them; thank you very much Reverend Southgate.
It hasn’t just been Ascension Day that we’ve been celebrating- congratulations to all of our sports teams who have been competing recently! We’ve had both first places and fair play trophies to celebrate this term!
