After a short coach ride from the Big Pit and an even shorter ride in the Land Rovers, we arrived at Jamie's Farm in a blizzard of excitement. The children all had a tour of the farm and met the animals for the first time- including cuddles with the lambs. We then had cookies, warm from the oven, and headed off for our first walk. The children had loads of energy and had races, leap frogs and various games along the way. Everyone is happy with their rooms and have settled in really well. There was lots of excitement around bedtime but, after being read a story, everyone managed to drift off to sleep. We're just waking up now ready for our first day of farm jobs!
